About Me

I am a professional pianist based in the North East of England.

I am currently available for bookings. I specalise in lounge music, ideal for weddings, restaurants, hotels, corporate events etc. If there isnt a piano in the venue, dont worry, I can provide all of the equipment including a professional stage piano and amplification.

Bio

I started playing the piano at an early age, and started taking private piano lessons from the age of 7 through to the age of 15, taking exams through the Royal School of Music. In 1994,after taking a break for several years, I decided that I wanted a career in music, so applied to go to college to study music, and it was there that I joined my first band, and have never looked back.

Since then I have worked with various bands, trios, duos etc.. and have played everywhere from pubs, clubs, restaurants, holiday parks, hotels and theatres up and down the country, to doing a 5 month contract at a 5 star hotel in Dubai, whilst having had the pleasure of working with numerous talented musicians and vocalists along the way.

I have recently been the resident cocktail pianist for 3 years in a prestigious restaurant on Newcastle’s busy quayside, a regular haunt of celebrities and premiership footballers.... I now play in bands, as well as being a freelance, self contained, cocktail pianist playing jazz, pop and rock standards.

I use a Roland rd300 stage piano, Yamaha p-80 stage piano, Korg trinity synthesiser, and a 900 watt mackie p.a. system
